VOSM62P OSM Module for Power-Efficient Industrial Computing and Multi-Display Systems

The VOSM62P is a compact OSM Size-L system-on-module based on the Texas Instruments AM62P54 industrial Sitara processor. Combining application processing, real-time control, graphics acceleration, and extensive interface resources in a 45 mm × 45 mm footprint, it gives OEMs a flexible computing core for customized industrial devices.
1. Heterogeneous Processing for Linux Applications and Real-Time Tasks: Powered by a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processor running at up to 1.4 GHz, together with dedicated Cortex-R5F resources, the VOSM62P integrates 4 GB LPDDR4 memory and 64 GB eMMC storage to support running Linux applications while handling time-sensitive control and device-management workloads.
2. Multi-Display and Multimedia Capabilities: The module supports up to three independent displays through MIPI DSI and dual LVDS interfaces. An integrated Imagination GPU and hardware H.264/H.265 video processing up to 4K UHD make it well suited to industrial HMIs, control panels, and other visually interactive terminals.
3. Rich Industrial Connectivity in a Compact Form Factor: Dual RGMII Gigabit Ethernet with TSN support, two CAN interfaces with CAN FD support, plus USB, UART, SPI, I²C, SDIO, PWM, and GPIO provide the flexibility to connect field devices, communication modules, displays, and control peripherals through a custom carrier board.
4. Designed for Secure, Long-Term Industrial Deployment: The VOSM62P supports Linux Yocto and hardware security features, and operates from -40°C to +85°C. OSM compliance and an extended service life help simplify product upgrades and long-lifecycle platform planning.

VT-SBC35-VOSM520 and VT-SBC35-VOSM720 for Scalable Edge AI and Multimedia Applications

The VT-SBC35-VOSM520 and VT-SBC35-VOSM720 bring the MediaTek MT8371 and MT8391 platforms to a common production-ready single board computer design. The two models are designed for edge systems that need stronger general-purpose processing alongside efficient AI acceleration and advanced multimedia capabilities.
1. Two CPU Performance Options: Both models use an octa-core architecture combining two Cortex-A78 performance cores with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The MT8371-based VT-SBC35-VOSM520 runs the Cortex-A78 cores at up to 2.2 GHz, providing balanced performance and power efficiency, while the MT8391-based VT-SBC35-VOSM720 increases the maximum Cortex-A78 frequency to 2.6 GHz for more demanding application processing and multitasking.
2. 9 TOPS Edge AI Acceleration: Both boards integrate a MediaTek 8th-gen NPU (MDLA5.3, GenAI) delivering up to 9 TOPS. They can run local inference for computer vision, object recognition, intelligent interaction, visual analytics, and other edge AI workloads without relying entirely on cloud processing.
3. 4K Multimedia and Flexible Display Integration: The two models support 4K video encoding and decoding, dual-display operation, and MIPI DSI, eDP, and DisplayPort interfaces. MIPI CSI camera input and integrated image-processing capabilities further support smart displays, interactive kiosks, vision-enabled terminals, and multimedia-rich industrial applications.
4. Application-Ready I/O and Software Support: Both boards include 8 GB LPDDR5 memory, 64 GB UFS 2.2 storage, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, RS232, RS485, CAN FD, USB, GPIO, Micro SD, audio, touch, and M.2 expansion. Android and Linux Yocto support, together with optional BlueSphere MDM for Android deployments, provides a validated foundation for standalone products and centrally managed device fleets.

VT-SBC35-VOSM255A for Deterministic Control and Lightweight Edge AI

The VT-SBC35-VOSM255A is built around the STMicroelectronics STM32MP255A heterogeneous processor. It combines Linux-capable application processing, deterministic real-time control, low-power subsystem management, and entry-level AI acceleration on a production-ready SBC, making it a strong fit for control-centric industrial equipment.
1. Three-Tier Architecture for Critical Workloads: Dual Cortex-A35 application cores handle Linux applications and higher-level processing, the Cortex-M33 manages deterministic real-time workloads, and the Cortex-M0+ supports low-power peripheral and standby functions.
2. Integrated AI, Graphics, and Video Processing: A 1.2 TOPS NPU supports lightweight inference tasks such as anomaly detection and predictive monitoring. The platform also supports graphics acceleration, MIPI DSI display output, MIPI CSI camera input, and 1080p video encoding and decoding.
3. Control-Oriented Industrial Interfaces: Dual Gigabit Ethernet, two CAN FD interfaces, RS232, RS485, USB, GPIO, audio, touch, and Micro SD connectivity enable integration with sensors, controllers, displays, and field equipment in industrial automation and intelligent gateway designs.
4. Ready for Reliable Embedded Deployment: The board includes 1 GB LPDDR4 memory and 32 GB eMMC storage, supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and Linux Yocto, and operates from -20°C to +70°C. Its validated hardware foundation helps reduce development risk for industrial HMIs, medical devices, factory controllers, and monitoring systems.
